Tortilla presses

Our signature piece. Solid hardwood plates press tortillas evenly every time, and the long handle gives you leverage without any effort.

Every piece is cut, carved, and finished by hand in our shop. Most of them started as someone's idea.

How custom orders work

  1. Tell us your idea

    Send a sketch, a photo, or just a description. Rough ideas are welcome.

  2. Get a quote

    We'll suggest woods and sizes and send you a price and a timeline.

  3. We build it

    We'll send progress photos along the way so you can see it come together.

  4. Pick up or delivery

    Pick it up from our Fresno shop, or we'll arrange delivery.

A family shop

The Valley Forge Wood Shop is run by Joaquin and his family. Every piece starts as a rough board like these and is cut, carved on our CNC, sanded, and finished by hand.

We work mostly in walnut, cherry, maple, and mahogany, and we love a challenge. If you can picture it, we'll find a way to build it.
